The management system standards have become one of the keys to the success of modern enterprises. In order to ensure that each department and region has trained and certified internal auditors, iStarChip Semiconductor recently organized a comprehensive ISO 9001/14001/27001 three-system internal auditor training, led by the Compliance Department. iStarChip had already obtained the relevant system certifications earlier this year. The purpose of this training is to strengthen our employees’ professional knowledge and skills so as to ensure the efficiency and compliance of internal management in the company.

The internal auditor training attracted employee representatives from various departments and locations within the company. To ensure the success of the training, we invited seasoned experts in systems and auditing as trainers to impart knowledge and experience to the participants. The training covered three major modules: quality management, environmental management, and information security management. Each module integrated theoretical learning and practical case analysis to ensure that employees have a comprehensive understanding and application of relevant management requirements and methods.

Quality Management System:

In this module, the internal auditors learned about the requirements and application methods of the ISO 9001 standard and discussed how to continuously improve the company’s quality management system through internal audit work to ensure that product and service quality meets international standards and customer requirements.

Environmental Management System:

This module focused on introducing the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard and environmental management practices. Employees actively shared their department’s experiences and achievements in environmental protection and resource utilization, and contributed wisdom and strength to the sustainable development of the company.

Information Security Management System:

The ISO 27001 standard aims to help enterprises establish a comprehensive information security management system to ensure that information assets are fully protected. Employees learned about the best practices in information security management to meet increasingly severe information security challenges.

In addition to theoretical learning, the training also included case analysis and sharing sessions. After the training, everyone actively participated in the assessment to obtain the internal auditor certification.
